Benefits of training with rings

Rings made according to the requirements of FIG

The set consists of two wooden rings made from high quality birch wood. The rings are made according to the requirements of the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) regarding the dimensions of gymnastic rings. For example, the rings have a diameter of 236 mm, the handles are 28 mm thick and the straps have a width of 38 mm. The special birch wood gives the rings a natural grip. As a result, the StreetGains Wooden Gymnastic Rings lie perfectly in the hand with or without the use of chalk. The rings are also provided with a laser-cut StreetGains logo.

Heavy duty straps

The StreetGains Wooden Gymnastic Rings come with two nylon heavy-duty straps. These extra long straps each have a length of 550 centimeters. This makes the wooden rings easy to attach to a pull-up bar, tree, basketball ring or other object. What also makes this set of rings unique is the length indication on both straps. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, this makes it easier to hang the rings at exactly the same height. The straps are equipped with SafeLock steel closures. This prevents the rings from sinking during use. The integrated SmartHold Velcro closure also ensures that the excess part of the straps can be rolled up, so that they do not get in the way. The straps are finished with a raised rubber StreetGains logo.

Carry bag

The set of wooden gymnastic rings comes with a stylish carry bag, so that the rings and straps can be comfortably taken to any training. This makes it easy to use the rings at home, outside or in the gym.

A diameter of 28 or 32 millimeters?

We offer both rings for fitness and for gymnastics. The difference between these two types is the thickness of the ring. Gymnastic rings have a diameter of 28 millimeters and are specially made according to the requirements of the FIG (Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique). It is easier to use a so-called 'false grip' on these rings. Fitnesst rings have a diameter of 32 millimeters. These thicker rings are used for fitness training. With these rings you develop more grip strength than with gymnastic rings. These rings also feel more comfortable for an athlete with big hands.

Our advice

For a longer lifespan of the straps, we recommend attaching the straps to smooth surfaces to avoid friction. Also make sure that the steel buckle of the straps does not make contact with the wood, to prevent damage to the rings..
